Record Control Section
This section configures the main recorder functions.
Sampling Rate:
Sets the record bandwidth. Reducing to 5.5kHz doubles the
record time to the SD card and approximately doubles the
battery life.
Channels:
Sets mono (1 channel) or stereo (2 channel) record mode. A
four channel version of the recorder is also available. Mono
recording approximately doubles the battery life.
Ch1 & Ch2:
Configures for internal microphones or external inputs.
Ch3 & Ch4:
Only active if the Recorder is capable of 4 channel recording.
Ext line level inputs:
Adjusts the expected external input level to mic or line level. See
Specification, page 32.
Audio Monitor:
Enable the audio monitor output (Section 3.5, page 13)
Disable SoundByte
Record & Stop Buttons
Disable the local [Start] and [Stop] buttons.
Covert LED Mode:
Sets the Status LED to automatically switch off 5 seconds after a
button press.
Minimum Recording
Time:
The minimum record time after an external or VOX trigger input.
Set in hours: minutes: seconds.
