6.3
Selecting a Region of Interest
It is possible to zoom to a region of interest on the timeline by dragging the mouse
along the waveform display. The selected region is then shown highlighted in green
and the edges of the region can be adjusted with the mouse. A right-click shows the
possible options (see below). The
“play selected” [<<Play>>] button plays the region
of interest, which can be continuously repeated by the
“Loop Playback” option. The
selected region can be exported to a WAV file using the drop down, right click menu.
If steering is enabled on a 4 channel recording, the WAV file will contain the steered
audio as a two channel WAV file (dual mono or stereo depending on the steering
settings).
