External Microphones / Audio Inputs
External Microphones:
The 2 channel SoundByte supports either 2 internal or 2 external microphones which
are selected via the SoundControl PC control and configuration application (see
Section 7, page 25 ).
NB
►
When recording in mono (channel 1), the centre (red) input connector is active.

The 4 Channel SoundByte can support 4 internal or 2/4 external microphones. The
external microphones are connected as shown below.

RCA Phono Inputs:
Two i-Conex to RCA phono adaptor cables are provided which can be used for
external audio sources.
TIP►
The audio input level can be set to mic or line level via
SoundControl (see Section 7, page 25 ).
