Expected Record Times:
8.1
Max Record Time vs SD Card Capacity
The maximum record time depends upon the record bandwidth and stereo / mono settings. The table
below show the expected record times for various SD card capacities.
NB
: External supply will be required to achieve record times longer than shown in Section 8.2 below.
8.2
Expected Record Time with Internal AAA Battery
Expected record times (Gigabytes required) using a 16GB Sand disk Extreme SD card. Times will
vary depending upon actual battery and SD card used.
NB:
smaller capacity cards are recommended
as, in general, the lower the capacity the card the longer the battery life.
8.3
Typical External Current Consumption
Results will vary dependant on the SD card used.
Note:
when Timer and VOX both enabled, Timer
standby current applies outside active period, VOX standby current during active Timer period. Timer
standby current applies also when Timers are not active i.e. at all times when externally powered.
This current may measure higher when RTC battery is flat or low.
