10. When they are completely lowered, push the Ribbon Module into the printer so that the Ribbon
Shafts engage with the Ribbon Drive Block.
11. Take up any slack in the ribbon by rotating the ribbon rolls. Then, turn the Head Lever to
LOCK
position to fix the Ribbon Module.
12. Again, take up any slack in the ribbon. Close the Top Cover.
NOTE
: For the CP-1002 series, repeat the above procedures to another ribbon module.
2.8.2 Removing the Ribbon Module with the Ribbon Loaded
1. Turn the Head Lever to
OPEN
position, and pull the Ribbon Module a little.
2. Fully lift the Print Head Mechanism together with the Ribbon Module, and then pull out the Ribbon
Module along the Print Head Mechanism.
