5.6 Correcting the Skew Print
The media that is fed askew may cause skew print. In this case, adjust the angle of the Media Guide
Unit by loosening the Media Guide Angle Adjustment Screw. Before performing the adjustment,
remove the media from the Auto Media Feeder.
1. Loosen the Media Guide Unit Fixing Screw and the Media Guide Angle Adjustment Screw.
NOTE
: Loosen the screw by only one or two turns. Too many turns may cause the screw to come off.
2. Adjust the angle of the Media Guide Unit referring to the scale marked on the Auto Media Feeder
Cover.
3. When the angle is decided, tighten the Media Guide Angle Adjustment Screw first, and then Media
Guide Unit Fixing Screw.
