4.1.3 Auto Media Feeder
1. Turn off the power and disconnect the Power Cord.
2. Loose the Media Guide Fixing Screws to spread the Media Guides. (Refer to Section 2.9, Loading
the Media.)
3. Put the Media Holder on top of the Media Guide Unit.
4. Remove the Media Guide Unit Fixing Screw to remove the Media Guide Unit.
NOTES:
1. Do not loosen the Media Guide Angle Adjustment Screw, or else a re-adjustment will be
necessary. (Refer to Section 5.6, Correcting the Skew Print.)
2. When restoring the Media Guide Unit, fit the slit of the Media Guide Unit onto the Shaft of the Auto
Media Feeder. (Refer to Section 2.4, Attaching the Media Guide Unit.)
5. Remove paper particles or dust from the Auto Media Feeder with the enclosed Dust Brush.
6. Wipe the rollers of the Auto Media Feeder with a soft cloth slightly moistened with alcohol.
4.1.4 Top Cover
1. Turn off the power and disconnect the Power Cord.
2. Wipe the Top Cover with a soft dry cloth or a slightly moistened soft cloth.
