Polarity Mark
The
Polarity Mark
tab defines the expected marking to the system.
To define the polarity mark type;
•
With a component selected, click on the
Polarity Mark
tab in the Property
Editor
•
Double click the
Mark Type
drop down and select from the options;
Bright Line
A line brighter than the background,
indicating the polarity of the device
Chamfer
A sloping edge, on the side of the device
carrying Pin 1
Corner Chamfer
A sloping edge on the corner of the device
nearest to Pin 1
Corner Flash
A plated mark on the corner of the device
nearest to Pin 1
Dark Line
A line darker than the background
indicating the polarity of the device
Dimple
A mark in the surface of the device with a
rounded profile
Flat Hole
A mark in the surface of the device with a
square profile
Laser Etched
A line etched on the component indicating
the polarity of the device
Notch
A cut out indicating the polarity of the
device
