Configuration Dialog 

 
To configure OCR Inspection of a component; 

 

The dialog is made up of the following areas; 

•

  Processed View 

1

 of the OCR Inspection Area  

 

For best results this image should be clear and legible with a 
minimum of noise, settings are available to tune this image 

•

  Lighting Panel

 defines the light source(s) to be used 

When the dialog opens an automatic light source and camera selection is 
used to produce the processed image. 

Clicking any light source and camera combination will use that source (see 

View Mode

 for more information) 

More than one light source may be selected; the images are combined by 
the system. 

Buttons are provided for commonly used lighting combinations.

  OCR Parameters

defines the behavior of the OCR Engine
