Opus MasterPress 02 is built on the basis of a manual eccentric press with a heater
enabling gilding. The device operation is controlled by a microprocessor controller with
an LCD display.
A frame with a matrix or with types that form an inscription may be mounted on the
heater. Stops enable positioning of the cover in relation to the central point of the
frame. Adjustable tabletop enables changing the elevation of the table at various points
which helps properly stamp complex patterns.
Electrically driven foil feeder supplies foil from a reel up to 230 mm wide (sheet foil may
also be used).
5 INSTALLATION
The packaging contains: MasterPress 02, stand and box with accessories. The device
should be secured to the stand and positioned on a suitably tough, flat and stable
surface.
To this end:
- unscrew the bolts that fasten the stand to the pallet
using a 4 mm Allen key
- set the stand in the desired place and level it by
means of adjustable feet
- using an 8 mm Allen key, unscrew four M10-30 bolts
securing the device to the pallet (bolts at the
underside of the pallet); set the device on the stand
and screw it with the four M10-55 bolts provided
- set the lever in working position by moving it from the
transport position until the keys snap into the
fastening slots and secure it by tightening the fixing
screws with a 4 mm Allen key (correctly mounted
lever, in its extreme upper position is inclined by
about 30° from the vertical towards the back side of
the device)
- put the side tables with the notches on the loosened
table fixing screws, then secure them by tightening
the screws
- attach the foil winding unit and connect its cables to
the sockets
Note
If the device was exposed to freezing temperatures, let the device warm up for at least
twenty minutes before connecting it to the mains (condensation may form on cold
metal elements).
