 1    SAFETY RULES

• 

Before working with the device for the first time, read the safety rules, manufacturer

   recommendations and the user manual. Keep the user manual at hand to refer to it 
   in case of any doubts regarding the operation of the device.

• 

Place the device on a stable and robust surface.

• The use of the stand supplied is recommended.
• The device is designed for indoor use at above freezing temperatures and normal

  humidity.

• 

Protect the device against moisture and dust.

• 

Do not place the device near heating and / or ventilation equipment.

 The device should never e used near flammable gases or liquids.

 Never touch the heater when the device is on: Burn hazard!

• The device should never be used for any other purpose than those specified in the user

  manual.

• 

Use only the provided power cord in working order.

• The mains socket should have a good grounding.
• The mains voltage must match the data on the nameplate attached onto the device

  housing.

• 

Failure to observe the rule above may lead to device damage.

• 

Protect the power cord against damage. When disconnecting the power cord from the

  mains socket, always pull the plug, not the cord.

• 

Making changes to the wiring system of the device or to the power cord may result in an

  electric shock.

• The device is completely de-energized only after the plug is pulled out of the mains

  socket.

• 

Disconnect the device from the mains if you do not intend to use it for a long time or

  when it is moved.

• 

Be sure to pull the plug from the mains socket before removing any covers of the device.

• The electrical system is protected by fuses. Fuses are located in the combined power

  socket next to the mains switch and inside the device on the controller board.

• 

If a fuse needs replacing, replace it with a fuse of the same rating.

  If the new fuse blows, contact technical service for assistance.

• 

If it is necessary to replace a fuse inside the device, that should be done by a person

  having appropriate qualifications.

• 

Be sure to pull the plug from the mains socket before replacing fuses.

• 

When pulling a frame from a hot device, do not touch the metal parts of the frame:

  Burn hazard!

• Before changing the types fixed in the frame, wait R to NM minutes after removing the

  frame from the heater to cool the hot parts: Burn hazard!

• 

Always check the working order of the device, and contact technical service if any

  operating anomalies are observed.

• 

When using the device always observe the general safety rules.

• The device should be operated by one person at a time to avoid pinching or crunching 

  of hands or fingers, and no bystanders should be within the operating area of the device.
