Timer –
set gilding time, that is time after which the device indicates finished
gilding/stamping cycle (two beeps). Available range: 0 – 9 secs in 0.5 sec. steps.
During the stamping cycle the time is counted down from the set value to zero. End
of countdown is indicated by two beeps and pulsating “0” (if lever is not raised
within O secs the “lift lever up” message appears).
Pos/h –
indicates the initial value of the distance between the matrix and the
material being processed (Pos) and the current distance during its movement (h).
Note: the displayed value is correct only if position has been calibrated. The value is
modified by brief pressing the button. Available range: 4 to 40 mm in 1 mm steps.
Note
In the parameter display mode, pressing and holding the [ ] or [ ] button causes
the slider to move continuously up or down until the slider reaches the end position
or presses against the workpiece (RUN status is displayed in the status line). Releasing
the button during slider movement and pressing it again within 2 seconds, activates
the slider stepwise movement mode wherein each subsequent pressing of the button
moves the slider by 0.1 mm. To return to continuous movement mode release the
button and wait at least 2 secs.
Calibration
The bottom button for setting the Pos parameter, Calibration, starts the calibration
procedure of the matrix position (sets the matrix at the distance set in the Pos
setting); press and hold the Calibration button: the matrix is automatically pressed
against the material and then moves back by a set distance. The procedure should be
carried out always after switching on power (in the Pos position, Calibrate is
displayed intermittently) and after changing the stamped material type, matrix
thickness.
Foil –
indicates the set and counted length of foil automatically wound after the
gilding cycle. Available range: 0 to 300 in steps of 10 (conventional units, indicate
winder motor operating time) or 0 to 32 cm in 1 cm steps (if foil meter is connected).
During winding the length of wound foil is displayed.
Note
As the amount of wound foil increases, the diameter of the winding reel increases,
then in the case of a disconnected foil length meter, at a constant winding time, the
length of the wound foil increases. The Foil parameter must then be often adjusted
or the foil must be removed from the winding reel.
Note
In the settings display mode, pressing and holding any of the [ ] or [ ] buttons
activates the winder motor which continues to run as long as the button is pressed
(the winder must be connected).
