Microphone
For Microphone issues, check the
•
The microphone connects to the PC
with a 3.5mm extension cable
o
The microphone’s black cable
plugs into the extension cable’s
green port; the other end of the
extension cable plugs into the
PC
•
Troubleshooting with Tech Support
o
The most common issue is damage from a customer thinking the
microphone is a button and pressing it into the kiosk
In this case, Tech Support will send a replacement and walk you
through the simple installation steps
o
If the device does not appear to be damaged, you will be asked to unplug
the microphone cable from the PC and plug it back in
o
If that does not fix the problem, we will ask you to disconnect the
microphone from the extension cable and then reconnect
Speakers and Amplifier Assembly
For speaker/amplifier issues, check the connections first, then try turning the volume
control knob (located on the amplifier shown in the photo); if the issue persists
NOTE: tell the technician if other devices are not working – it may be a power supply
issue
