Part Names and Functions

Amplifier Unit

(1) The input cable connects the Sensor Head.
(2) The current/voltage switch selects either current output or voltage output.

Monitor focus must also be set when switching the output.

(3) The connectors connect the Calculating and Interface Units.
(4) The output cable connects the sensor to the power supply and external devices,

such as sync sensors or programmable controllers.

(5) The power indicator lights when the Sensor is powered ON.
(6) The Zero Reset indicator lights when the zero reset function is enabled.
(7) The ENABLE indicator lights when the sensor is ready for measurement. It goes off

when measurement is not possible (e.g. when the measuring range is exceeded, or
