The NX-TB
2 and NX-TB
1 Terminal Blocks have different terminal current capacities.
The NX-TB
2 has 10 A and NX-TB
1 has 4 A.
To differentiate between the two models of terminal blocks, use the terminal number column indica-
tions. The terminal block with white letters on a dark background is the NX-TB
2.
You can mount either NX-TB
1 or NX-TB
2 Terminal Blocks to the Units that the current
capacity specification of the terminals is 4 A or less.
You can only mount the NX-TB
2 Terminal Block to the Units that the current capacity specifi-
cation of the terminals is greater than 4 A.
Additional Information
• Each of the Analog Input Units and Analog Output Units is compatible with only one of three
types of terminal blocks. You cannot use a terminal block with a number of terminals that
differs from the specifications for a particular Unit.
• The 8-terminal type and 12-terminal type do not have terminal holes and release holes for
following terminal numbers.
8-terminal type: A2, A4, A6, A8, B2, B4, B6, and B8
12-terminal type: A7, A8, B7, and B8

Terminal numbers for which A to D indicate the column, and 1 to 8 indicate
the line are displayed.
The terminal number is a combination of column and line, i.e. A1 to A8 and
B1 to B8.
The terminal number indications are the same regardless of the number of
terminals on the terminal block.

Release holes
Insert a flat-blade screwdriver into these holes to connect and remove the
wires.

Terminal holes
The wires are inserted into these holes.
