Converter Example: RS-232C/RS-485 Converter
RS-232C
• Use terminals B1 through B3 to communicate with the host.
• Wiring is configured 1:1.
• The maximum cable length is 15 m. Use OMRON’s Z3RN RS-232C Opti-
cal Interface to extend the wiring path.
• Use shielded, twisted-pair wires of at least AWG28 to AWG16 for all
cables. (Same wire used for RS-485 cable.)
