Overview of System Startup Procedure

When the EDS file has been installed, the device will have been added as
shown in the following window.
Common Procedure 4. Connecting the Network Online
This section describes how to connect the Network Configurator online
through Ethernet (i.e., through the EtherNet/IP Unit).
Note
Make sure that each device is connected via an Ethernet cable as
described in
Common Procedure 1
, and that each device has the
same network address.

Select the interface for the Network Configurator (select online connection
from the personal computer).

Select Interface

Establish an online connection.

Select the Ethernet interface of the personal computer being used.
In the following diagram, TCP 2 indicates the EtherNet/IP network. Click
the
OK
Button.
Make sure that the device has
been added to the
EtherNet/IP Hardware list.
Select

Interface - Ethernet I/F
.
A checkmark will appear
by Ethernet I/F
Select
Network - Connect
to establish a connection.
When the personal computer has
more than one Ethernet interfaces,
select the interface to use.
