4. Set the documents to be transmitted on the document
table.
1. Press the STOP/RESET key.
* The fax is currently occupied with another
communication.
2. Press the FUNCTION key.
3. Press the ENTER FUNCTION key.
* The message display will revert to the initial mode.
Interrupt transmission
This function is convenient for those times you want to transmit documents in a hurry, but the
fax is in the middle of transmitting a large number of documents. If the interrupt transmission
procedure is performed, that transmission will be stopped between pages and the connection
with the other party terminated. Once the interrupt transmission is completed, the fax will
automatically return to and continue the operation that was in progress prior to the interruption.
5. Input the destination fax number.
* A destination fax number may be dialled with the
keypad, abbreviated numbers or one-touch keys.
6. Press the START key.
* The fax will start transmitting operations for your
documents. Once the interrupt transmission is
completed, the fax will automatically redial the
previous party and continue the transmission from the
point of the interruption.
