The use of paper with corner cuts is not assured. (If any problems
occur with the use of such paper, equipment or performance is
not assured.)
When paper with corner cuts is used in cases of absolute
necessity, adequate prior testing must be performed to check
that problems do not occur. Some precautions for using paper
with corner cuts are as follows:

Do not print data in the hatched areas illustrated below.
>
Be sure that paper is free of any chad resulting from
corner cutting.
>
To prevent paper peeling and possible carriage snagging,
do not connect the cuts of vertical or horizontal
perforations to corner cuts.
>
Corner cuts falling on the printer’s paper detection switch
are taken as paper ends or paper jams.
