Heating curve can be adjusted using heating curve displacement. Then curve slope
is according to curve control, but set value raises or decreases.
+
raises setting and
–
decreases setting. Adjust curve on operating lines
721: Heating curve displacement
(Heating circuit 1) and
1021: Heating curve displacement
(Heating circuit 2). This
method is practically the same as changing the comfort setpoint value.
3.7. Connecting solar heating
The following instructions describe how to connect a solar heat collector to the heat
pump control system.
Before installing and connecting the solar heat collector, refer also to the
manufacturer’s instructions.
1. Switch off the heat pump.
2. Connect solar heat collector’s circulation pump to a free relay QX output.
Remember to install 2A fuse between the relay output and the pump.
3. Connect the temperature sensor of the solar heat collector to a free BX sensor
input.
4. Switch on the heat pump and wait until the control system has started.
5. Press the
OK
button to access the menu system.
6. Log in using the
Expert
user level.
7. Select
Configuration
menu, and configure the following operating lines.
●
Select the relay output where the solar heat collector’s circulation pump
was connected (operating lines 5890 – 5903) and set its value to
Collector
pump Q5
.
●
Select the sensor input where the temperature sensor of the solar heat
collector was connected (operating lines 5930-5943) and set its value to
Collector sensor B6
.
●
6097 Sensor type collector
: NTC or Pt 1000
●
6200 Save sensors
: Yes
●
6204 Save parameters
: Yes
●
3822 Charging prio storage tank
: Buffer storage tank
●
4783 With solar integration
: Yes
After this a new
Solar
menu item appears on the
Commissioning
user level. With
rows 3811 and 3812 it is possible to change some switching limits, but in most cases
there is no need to change any settings - the factory settings are appropriate.
3.8. Configuring alarm output
If needed, a free relay output (230 V) can be configured to indicate if there is an
open alarm in the heat pump control system. If a fault occurs in the heat pump, the
configured relay output contact closes. When the alarm is cleared, the relay output
contact opens.
Follow the steps below to configure the alarm output.
1. Press the
OK
button to access the menu system.
2. Select
Configuration
menu.
3. Select
5892: Relay output QX3
and set the value to
Alarm output K10
.
4. Press the
OK
button.
