4. After the ground circuit and heating circuits are filled and vented, start and test all
circulation pumps with relay test to check that the circulations are working.
●
Set circuit breakers of all used circulation pumps (
F3
,
F4
and
F5
) to 1.
●
Test circulation pumps with relay test, for more instructions, see chapter
Relay test
.
●
After test, clean the filters.
5. Before starting the heat pump and the compressor, preheat the water in buffer
tank(s) connected to the heat pump at least to 20° C.
6. Start the compressors. After at least 6 hours of preheating the compressors surface
sumps, you can start the compressors.
●
Set compressors’ circuit breakers
F1
and
F2
to 1.
7. Check the settings of the ground circuit and heating circuits.
8. Set heat pump basic settings.
●
Set language, time and date.
●
Check domestic hot water settings and modify if necessary.
●
Set heating curves and other optional settings.
9. Test the heat pump with low and high temperatures, and fill in the commissioning
part of the maintenance sheets.
Once installation and commissioning are complete, fill in the
installation and warranty reports.
3.4. Relay test
You can check the connection and functioning of each device connected to a relay
output with a relay test.
1. Change to commissioning user level.
a. Press the
OK
button to access the menu system.
b. Press the
Information (i)
button for 5 seconds, select
Commissioning
user
level and press
OK
button.
2. Select
Input/output test
and press
OK
button.
3. Select
7700: Relay test
and select the device you want to test.
For example, to test ground circuit pump, select
Source pump QX12
, or to test
condenser pump, select
Condenser pump QX13
.
4. Once the devises have been tested, change the value of the operating line
7700
back to
No test
.
If you do not set the value back to
No test
, the heat pump will remain in relay
test mode, and will not start up.
3.5. Adding heating circuits
By default, there is one heating circuit configured to the heat pump’s control system.
If there are more controllable heating circuits in the heating system, it is possible to
configure the heat pump to control two heating circuits.
1. Connect the temperature sensor and the shunt valve motor of the heating circuit to
be added to the heat pump’s controller.
For more detailed instructions, see wiring diagrams.
2. Change to commissioning user level.
