Limiting domestic hot water temperature
In the winter season, the temperature in the lower section of the storage tank
is determined by the flow temperature (flow to heating circuits). As outdoor and
indoor temperatures are lower, the compressor may run for long periods of time.
Consequently, the water in the upper section of the tank can become scalding hot. The
maximum temperature limit for the compressor is 90 °C.
To prevent the domestic hot water from becoming dangerously hot, the system can be
equipped with a temperature limiter function (optional accessory).
The maximum temperature of domestic hot water can be specified in the
Hot water
temperature limiter
view. Access the view through
Heating curve selection,
see
section

field.
● Adjustment range: 0–90 °C, factory setting: 55 °C.
In the summer season when no heating is required outside wet areas, the compressor
runs infrequently, and less superheat is available for domestic hot water heating.
Consequently, the temperature in the upper and lower section of the tank are closer to
each other.
