Closure force calibration
INFO
Reset the measuring instrument before starting the closure force calibration.
If the CAL01 is being used, select the "Average” setting.
After the measured value for the initial calibration has
been sent, the “Calibration / closure force calibration“
window will open.
The closure force target value has already been
input and need not be input again.
NOTE
The target closure force is carried over from the
"Closure force [N]" input field of the "Closure data"
tab (see chapter 7.3, p. 7-43):
1.
Click on the “Start closure force calibration”
button.
The button lights up green and the “Closure force
calibration” information window opens. This
displays the next steps and contains a counter
showing the number of measurement closures.
The counter provides an indication of the number
of closures performed during calibration.
Once the 5 closures required for calculating the
average have been performed, the “Closure
force calibration” indicator closes automatically.
2. Enter the average of the measured values (e.g.
from CAL01) into the “Average value [N]” field in
the “Calibration values” area.
The “Send average value to device” button lights
up green.
3.
Press the “Send average value to device” button.
The measured value is acknowledged and sent
to the device.
