Bluetooth Setup
Bluetooth Setup allows a user to pair the OBi Phone with a mobile phone or with a Bluetooth headset. When a
mobile phone is paired with the OBi via Bluetooth, inbound calls to the mobile phone will also be directed to the OBi
phone
–
you can answer a call and add it to a conference or otherwise handle the call just like you would any other
on your OBi phone. Contacts can also be copied via Bluetooth from the mobile phone to the OBi. Additionally, a call
key can be programmed for your mobile device, allowing you to dial out via your mobile phone from your OBi phone
when it is paired via Bluetooth. The superior audio acoustics of the OBi phone means you can have much clearer
and richer conversations than via the mobile phone’s built
-in speaker.
To successfully connect with a Bluetooth device, it is important that you set the correct
“Pairing Mode” based on
your intent to connect with a mobile phone or a Bluetooth headset.
