The Home Screen
The Home App launches automatically when the phone starts up. The Home App only has one level of screen called
the Home Screen that shows the Main Menu of all available OBi Apps. Further information on the apps included
with the OBi is available in the section titled “OBi Phone Apps”.
To launch an app from the home screen:
For OBi1062 and OBi1032, highlight the corresponding icon with the
∧
(Up),
∨
(Down),
<
(Left) and
>
(Right) navigation keys.
For OBi1022, highlight the corresponding icon with the
∧
(Previous),
∨
(Next) navigation keys. The
highlight proceeds in a “raster
-
scan” fashion
. Starting at the first app at the top left, pressing the
∨
(Next)
key moves the highlight one position to the right. When it gets to the end of a row, it wraps to the
beginning of the next row.
Press the
√
(Enter, aka OK) Key in the middle of the navigation key area to launch the app
The following operations apply to all Apps:
Pressing the
(Home) key closes all screens and returns to the Home Screen.
Pressing the
(Back) key closes the current GUI screen shown on top. If this is the first screen of an app,
that app will exit.

Soft key functions are displayed along the bottom of the screen. When the home screen is active the following soft
keys are displayed by default:
Redial List: Shortcut to launch Outgoing Call History to let the user select a number from the list to call
Call Forward: Press once to enable/disable call forwarding for all calls, or to configure a call forwarding
destination number if none is configured. Pressing and holding the key also brings up the call forwarding
configuration utility to enter a destination number.
