MANAGEMENT OF RECORDED IMAGE FILES
The selections in the pop-up menu will be explained in the sections that follow.
For large recorded image files spanning over many hours, it is desirable to be able to extract
a relevant or any important portion of the recording for easy storage. The Extract feature
on this pop-up menu allow a specified portion between two specified times of a recording
to be extracted and saved. A new file (with .vcr) file extension has to be created to note the
information of the extracted image files.
CREATING .BMP and .TGA FILES
During playback, if you would like to create a .BMP or .TGA file of a particular frame,
click on the right-mouse button while your mouse cursor is on the client area of the Video
Playback window and select Create BMP File or Create TGA File respectively from the
pop-up menu (as shown in the previous section). Enter the name of the file that you are
creating and press OK. The new file is placed in the Image directory.
SPEED
The speed of playing back recorded video
images can also be changed. On the same
pop-up menu (above), select Speed and you
will see a Speed Control window where
you can enter the desired playback rate.
