Read the back of the PV panel and note the polarity of the wires. Feed the PV panel wire through the
center hole in the shelter box door, and then secure the PV to the shelter box door with the four
mounting screws.
Feed any excess PV wire back into the hole behind the PV panel. Connect the PV wires with the polarity
that you noted to the iPack PV input screw terminals located on the right side of the iPack. Shade the PV
panel from direct sunlight while wires are being connected to avoid sparks.
Fiberglass-Reinforced Polymer (FRP) Shelter Box
NRG sells FRP boxes in two sizes. In most cases, the SymphoniePLUS3 logger best fits into the smaller
box.

Connect Logger and iPack
Remove the protective water resistant sticker from the back of the logger to expose the plug. Carefully
the iPack to the plug while avoiding bending any of the pins.

Install Hanging Bracket
Line the hanging bracket up with the iPack and logger so that the holes on the corners overlap. The
bracket should be oriented so that the sides extends away from the iPack and the wider part of the
holes on those sides are down.
Long mounting screws are included with the iPack. Place them in the holes on the corners so that they
feed through the iPack and into the threaded inserts in the logger. Tighten them with a 5/16 nutdriver.
