5.6 COM Module 

The COM module provides extension output interfaces for clock synchronization.. 

5.6.1 RS-485 (NR1205A) 

The COM module NR1205A provides 7 RS-485 serial ports. The No.1~4 ports form the group 1 
and the No.5~7 form the group 2.

The correct serial port wiring is shown in the following figure. Generally, a foiled cable with at least 
two pairs of twisted pairs shall be applied. One pair of the twisted pairs are respectively used to
