Nortel Business Secure Router 252 Configuration — Advanced
level [level]
Sets the level (1-10) of trace logs (1
shows the least) to display.
type <bitmap>
Uses hexadecimal characters to set the
type of trace logs to record.
disp
Shows the trace log.
clear
Erases the trace log.
call
Shows call events.
encapmask [mask]
Shows which type of encapsulation the
trace log records, or sets the
encapsulation if you specify the
encapsulation’s hexadecimal
character.
trcpacket
Uses trace packets to capture parts of
packets in order to see the packet flow
from one interface to another.
create
<entry> <size>
Creates a packet trace buffer.
destroy
Removes the packet trace buffer.
channel <name>
[none|incoming|
outgoing|bothway]
Sets the packet trace direction for a
given channel.
string
[on|off]
Enables or disables the sending of a
log to the trace packet buffer when
configuration changes are made or
displays the current setting if neither
on/off is specified.
switch
[on|off]
Enables or disables packet trace or
displays the current setting if neither on
nor off is specified.
disp
Displays the trace packets.
udp
Sends the trace packets to another
system using UDP.
udp switch
[on|off]
Enables or disables the sending of the
trace packets to another system using
UDP or displays the current setting.
udp addr
<addr>
Sets the target IP address for sending
trace packets using UDP.
udp port
<port>
Sets the UDP port (should match that
of the target IP address) for sending
trace packets using UDP.
