ISASSEMBLY

EPAIR

Drawbar

The drawbar is attached to the front frame through a pin.

Removal

Step 1:

Remove access plates, 1, on both sides of front

frame, then mark, disconnect and cap hydraulic lines, 2.

Step 2:

Support drawbar with chain and hoist.

Step 3:

Remove drawbar pin retaining bolt, 3, then

remove drawbar pin.

Step 4:

Loosen bolts on both lift cylinder ball joint

clamps, 1, to separate lift cylinders from drawbar
knuckles, 2, (keep shims with joint).

Step 5:

Loosen bolts on shift cylinder ball joint clamp, 3,

to separate shift cylinder from drawbar knuckle, 4, (keep
shims with joint). Drawbar with circle and moldboard is
now separated from frame.

Installation

Step 1:

Apply Loctite 242 to two bolts, install through

shift cylinder ball joint clamp, 3, (with shims) to drawbar
knuckle, 4, and torque bolts to 406-447 Nm
(300-330 ft-lb).

Step 2:

Apply Loctite 242 to two bolts, install through lift

cylinder ball joint clamps, (with shims) to drawbar
knuckles, and torque bolts to 406-447 Nm
(300-330 ft-lb).
