After the end of the baling period, execute a good general cleaning of the Baler.
Remove the material from within the machine completely and wash it with water.
Apply a fine layer of oil in the baling chamber and on the knotmakers, to protect
them agains rust. Replace damaged or worn parts.
Lubricate all the oilers.
In order to increase the useful life of the tires in the period in which the machine
is stored, the machine can be kept on support and the two wheels removed.
Provide a suitable place, protected from bad weather (sun, rain etc) to store
the machine.
PRESERVATION
It is advisable to execute a general revision of the Baler every year, preferably
at the end of each season, identifying and replacing worn or damaged parts.
Whenever you need replacement parts, go to your authorized reseller, with the
manufacturing serial number and model of your machine.
It is very important to speed up and ensure the correct identification of the
parts requested.
Always go to the authorized service and require genuine parts.
Remember that periodic revisions reduce the need for maintenance.
Below we present a checklist prepared for revising your Baler:
- Verify theat there are no twisted or broken springs in the collector.
- Examine the transmission gears.
- Verify that the bearings of the collector are in good condition.
- Examine the knotmaker completely, especially the catchers, supports, blades
and gears.
- Verify the cut of the blades. It is advisable to have a set of blades in reserve,
to be used during the sharpening.
- Examine the piston.
- Verify if the needles are in good condition.
