Termination tasks
First of all, turn off the laser.

Turn off the laser.
See the Instruction Manual supplied with the laser before turning off the laser, and
unplug the power cord.

For air-cooled argon laser
Switch off the key switch on the air-cooled argon laser remote controller, and leave it for
approximately 15 minutes to sufficiently cool down the laser head. After checking that it
is sufficiently cool, switch off the key switch, and then power switch, which are on the
power unit.

Turn off the Epi-illumination lamp.
The lamp stays very hot because of lighting. If you want to put a cover on the lamp,
be sure to at least wait 30 minutes after the lamp goes off.

Turn off other components.
Turn off the microscope and shutter control unit, and then unplug their power cords.
