Filter cubes that incorporate dichroic mirrors are attached in the T-FLC-HQ cassette holder. The
filter cube reflects the laser beam or Epi-fl illumination from the TIRF2 attachment to guide it to
the objective. Up to six filter cubes can be attached and replaced as necessary.
Three exclusive high-precision filter cubes are attached as accessories.
To protect your eyes and skin from exposure to the laser, do not detach
the T-FLC-HQ cassette holder from the microscope.

(4) Exclusive high-precision filter cube
(1) Excitation method changeover ring
Rotate this ring to switch between filter cubes.
(2) Shutter lever
Move the lever clockwise to move the shutter into the optical path, thus interrupting the
laser beam.
For TIRF microscopy, leave this lever in the "O" (open) position and manipulate the shutter
control unit to interrupt the laser beam with the motorized shutter.
(3) Filter cube port cover
Make sure that all lasers are off when replacing filter cubes.
Remove this cover to replace filter cubes.
