The coordinates are stored as a CC record. Line
definition information and Sta, O/S, and dVD values
are stored in comment (CO) records.
Calculating coordinates using intersection functions
To enter the Intersection menu, press
[3]
or select
Intersection
in the Cogo menu.
There are four functions in this menu for calculating coordinates.
Calculating a bearing-bearing intersection
A bearing-bearing intersection is the intersection point of two lines.
1.
To calculate a bearing-bearing intersection,
press
[1]
or select
Brng-Brng
in the
Intersection menu.
2.
Enter the first point name and press
[ENT]
.
Alternatively, to measure directly to the point,
press the
MSR
softkey.
3.
Define the first line by azimuth.
4.
To define the line by two points, press the
Pts
softkey. The Fr field defaults to the P1 point, but
you can change the selected point. In the To
field, enter or measure to the second point.

5.
Do one of the following:

To return to the previous screen, press
[ESC]
.
The calculated value appears in the AZ field.

To go to the next screen, press
[ENT]
