CMD tool support files
15.1
Interbus CMD tool
The CMD tool is a Windows© (not later than Windows XP) based software package
developed by Phoenix Contact and used to configure and diagnose the Generation 4
Interbus master controllers. An external database file, drive icon image files and a text
file (README_CT.TXT) with instructions on how to install the drive support files to the
appropriate directories, and import them into the CMD configuration tool, are available
from Control Techniques for use with the CMD tool application. These files are provided
in a compressed file (CT_IBS.ZIP) available from your local Control Techniques Drive
Centre.
15.2

Table 15-1 SI-Interbus data formats
The Interbus CMD tool support files are not essential when configuring an Interbus

network to determine which nodes are connected.
