Mode 3 - Peripheral Communications Protocol V2.0
The PCP non-cyclic mode is an object based protocol for implementing services that
are more complex than unconfirmed cyclic data transfer. If selected, the PCP protocol
supported by the SI-Interbus module uses the first word of the transmitted and received
data. Unlike the non-cyclic modes 1 and 2, PCP mode is not represented in the
mapping parameters (Pr
MM.010
to MM.029) and can only be selected by the mode
parameter (Pr
MM.005
) and not explicitly mapped.
When an Interbus network is initialised, each node supporting PCP is assigned a
Communication Reference, or CR. Supported objects are shown in
