USB uses VID (Vendor ID) and PID (Product ID) to identify and locate a device. The VID is assigned by USB Implementers
Forum. Newland’s vendor ID is 1EAB (Hex). A range of PIDs are used for each Newland product family. Every PID
contains a base number and interface type (keyboard, COM port, etc.).
