Search Commands
F8 Search forward for a character
Syntax

F8xx (xx: The search character’s hex value)
Search the input message forward for “xx” character from the current cursor position, leaving the cursor pointing to the “xx”
character.
F8 Example: Send barcode data that starts after a particular character
Search for the letter “D” in barcodes and send all the data that follows, including the “D”. Using the barcode above:
Command string:
F844F10D
F8 is the “Search forward for a character” command
44 is the hex value for “D”
F1 is the “Send all characters” command
0D is the hex value for a CR
The data is output as:
DEFGHIJ
<CR>
F9 Search backward for a character
