SNMP
The SERIMUX can send alerts as SNMP traps for all port connect/disconnect events. Using an SNMP MIB browser, a user can
monitor all settings. The SNMP agent supports both SNMPv1 and SNMPv2.
Note: The SNMP MIB file (serimuxsec.mib), for use with an SNMP MIB browser, can be found on the manual CD. Click
on the link to open the file; then save the file to your hard drive to use with the SNMP MIB browser.
TCP Settings
Figure 88- TCP Settings page

is the duration between two keepalive transmissions in idle condition. TCP keepalive period is configurable and
by default is set to 20 minutes. The range of acceptable values is 0-999 minutes.
Keepalive Probes
is the number of retransmissions to be carried out before declaring that remote end is not available. The
default value is 3, and the range of acceptable values is 0-999.
Keepalive Interval
is the duration between two successive keepalive retransmissions, if acknowledgement to the previous
keepalive transmission is not received. The default value is 20 minutes, and the range of acceptable values is 0-999 minutes.
