Modem Setting
From the Port Management menu, with Port x (any port) selected, press <

If the port is set for a port type “Dial-In User” (see page 15), it will require a modem to be connected. Refer to your modem
instructions for appropriate settings to be applied here.
Authentication
From the Port Management menu, with Port x (any port) selected, press <

> to open a list of authentication options.
To disable authentication for that port, enter <
1
> for “
none
”. If the Authentication Type is set to “none”, then a user will not be
required to provide a username and password to access that port when connecting to it.
