The system has a x4 PCIe M.2 2280 slot for you to install an NVMe SSD for the ultimate 

performance or an Intel® Optane

TM 

memory to accelerate the read/ write performances of 

traditional hard disk drive. An NVMe SSD offers exceptional performance over 2.5” SSDs 

while Intel® Optane

TM 

memory can dramatically boost your traditional hard disk drives' read/ 

write performances. For installation, please refer to the following instructions.

Please refer to the section “

Disassembling the System

”, you may not need to completely 

dismantle the system to gain access to the M.2 slot. 

2. 

Insert the module on a 45 degree angle. 

 

3. 

Gently press down and secure the module with an M2.5 P-head screw.
