Nuvo-8108GC

You do not need to remove the fan in order to remove the extension board. The fan is

removed in the illustration below on purpose to better indicate the screws that are

holding the motherboard in place. To separate the extension board from the

motherboard without uninstalling the fan, please disconnect the 4-pin fan connector

(indicated in

blue

) to the motherboard and remove the screws indicated below (indicated

red

Remove 4-pin fan connector

Remove screws to separate the extension board from the motherboard

WARNING

Please disengage the extension board gradually as there are capacitors situated

underneath the PCIe slots that may come in contact with enclosure structures when

removed with excessive force.
