e. Reconnect the battery and mains power. [4, 5]
f. Repeat step a. and d. for all other slave energizers on the network.
g. Connect a single core wire from the slave energizer’s sync terminal (marked
SYNC) to the synchronisation output terminal (OUT) of the RS485 board. [1, 2]
h. Connect the SYNC GND, A and B wires going to the next energizer’s RS485
synchronisation terminals to the SYNC OUT GND (marked G), A and B
terminals of the energizer’s RS485 board. If this is the last energizer in the
network DO NOT connect the SYNC OUT terminals to the first energizer. [3]
i. Connect the SYNC GND, A and B wires coming from the previous energizer’s
RS485 synchronisation terminals to the SYNC IN GND (marked G), A and B
terminals of the energizer’s RS485 board. [3]
j. Enter installer mode by entering 012345*0# on the keypad. Ensure the
energizer LCD display turns purple. [6]
k. Enter 5030*# to put the slave energizer in passive synchronisation mode. Do
not perform this step for the master energizer.
l. Exit installer mode by entering *#. Ensure the energizer LCD display turns blue. [6]
m. Route the cables out the bottom of the energizer enclosure and install the lid.
n. All energizers on the network should now pulse at the same time when activated.
