5. For energizer synchronisation:
a. Follow steps 3. a – d in
this section to install the
RS485 board and keypad,
if not already completed.
Ensure the power is
disconnected before
continuing.
b. Choose one energizer in
the network that will be
used as the master for
synchronisation.
Connect a single core wire
from the master energizer’s
sync terminal (marked
SYNC) to the synchronisation
input terminal (marked IN)
of the RS485 board. [1, 2]
c. Connect the SYNC GND, A and B wires going to the next energizer’s RS485
synchronisation terminals to the SYNC OUT GND (marked G), A and B
terminals of the master energizer’s RS485 board. [3]
d. Configure jumper JP4 like in the figure on the right. [7]
