EXTERNAL KEYBOARD
The NEC Docking Station 6000 provides simultaneous keyboard support.
When the external keyboard is plugged in, you can use either or both key-
boards.
Follow these steps to connect a PS/2-style keyboard to the docking station.
1.
Make sure NEC Versa power and docking station power are off.
CAUTION
Be sure power is off. Connecting an external keyboard while the
power is on can damage the keyboard controller in the computer.
2.
Locate the keyboard port on the back of the docking station.
3.
Insert the keyboard cable connector in the port.

Turn on power to the NEC Versa and docking station.
