Press firmly to secure the attachment.

Connecting the IDE cable to the device

On some IDE drives, the connector is reversed. The gap is in the top row
of pins instead of the bottom row. In this case, turn the cable over so that
the red edge is on the opposite side of the one pictured.

Locate the power cable that came in the cable accessories bag.

The power cable

Connect the cable to the interface board. Power connectors are keyed to
fit in only the correct position.
