What is the function of Suspend mode?
Suspend mode provides the greatest power savings by putting the system in a
maximum power shutdown. When the system goes into Suspend mode, it saves data and
system status and then shuts off power to all possible components. Suspend mode lets
you save power without first saving your work.
How do I bring my system out of Standby mode?
Moving your VersaGlide pointer or using your keyboard brings the system out
of Standby mode.
How do I bring my system out of Suspend mode?
Pressing the Suspend/Resume button brings the system out of Suspend mode.
What is a time-out?
A time-out is the amount of time your system or a particular component is
inactive.
