Follow these steps to restore your NEC Versa to its intial shipping
configuration.
1.
Insert the Product Recovery CD into the system’s CD-ROM reader.
2.
Reboot your computer.
3.
Select Full Restore to restore your system to its original system state.
4.
Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the restoration procedure.

“Using the Product Recovery CD”, in Chapter 4 of this user’s guide.
Selective Installation
If a driver, application, or utility becomes unusable, use the Product Recov-
ery CD to restore the selected file(s).
Use the Selective Installation Utility when your operating system
environment is fully operational and you need to reinstall specific file(s).
Follow these steps to install selected files to your NEC Versa.
1.
Insert the Product Recovery CD into the system’s CD-ROM reader.
2.
Open Windows Explorer and locate the CD-ROM drive.
3.
Double click the CD-ROM icon.
4.
Double click to open the readme file and follow the instructions for using
the Selective Installation Utility.
