CHAPTER 6 16-BIT TIMER/EVENT COUNTER

Preliminary User’s Manual U13420EJ2V0UM00

(3) 16-bit timer output control register 0 (TOC0)

This register controls the operation of the 16-bit timer/event counter output control circuit. It sets R-S type flip-

flop (LV0) setting/resetting, output inversion enabling/disabling, 16-bit timer/event counter timer output enabling/

disabling, one-shot pulse output operation enabling/disabling, and output trigger for a one-shot pulse by software.

TOC0 is set with a 1-bit or 8-bit memory manipulation instruction.

RESET input sets TOC0 value to 00H.

Figure 6-4 shows the TOC0 format.

Cautions 1. Timer operation must be stopped before setting TOC0.

2. If LVS0 and LVR0 are read after data is set, they will be 0.

3. OSPT is cleared automatically after data setting, and will therefore be 0 if read.

4. Be sure not to set (1) OSPT other than in one-shot pulse output mode.
