During transmission, the parity bit is cleared (0) regardless of the transmit data.
During reception, no parity error is generated because no parity bit is checked.

No parity bit is added to transmit data.
During reception, the receive data is considered to have no parity bit. No parity error
is generated because there is no parity bit.

CL
Specifies character length of transmit/receive data.
0: 7 bits
1: 8 bits
Caution:
To overwrite the CL bit, first clear (0) the TXE and RXE bits.

SL
Specifies stop bit length of transmit data.
0: 1 bit
1: 2 bits
Caution:
To overwrite the SL bit, first clear (0) the TXE bit. Since reception is
always done using a
single
stop bit, the SL bit setting does not
affect receive operations.

ISRM
Enables/disables generation of reception completion interrupt requests when an
error occurs.
0: Generate a reception error interrupt request (INTSERn) as an interrupt when an
error occurs.
In this case, no reception completion interrupt request (INTSRn) is generated.
1: Generate a reception completion interrupt request (INTSRn) as an interrupt
when an error occurs.
In this case, no reception error interrupt request (INTSERn) is
generated.
Caution:
To overwrite the ISRM bit, first clear (0) the RXE bit.
